About Origin
Origin is an algorithmic type treatment that uses the glyph outlines of standard font formats, like TrueType and OpenType, to produce an intricate fuzzy effect rendered by a flow of tracing particles.

The use of a programmable dynamic treatment can produce interesting result, like animated glyphs that smoothly reveal themselves.

Origin was built with Processing and NextText. It allows to easily adjust parameters to create different styles (e.g. light, bold, chaotic, etc) and generate slightly different result each time a glyph is rendered.
> applet (requires java 1.5+)

The type can be inserted in static and dynamic composition, or coded directly into programmatic environments for real-time rendering and interaction.
